If you have a manuscript which you feel might fit our publishing brief, we have some broad guidelines to facilitate the process, both so that your work can be presented in the best light, and so that we have the elements to make a sound decision.

Due to the volume of work we have to read, we would encourage you to send a book proposal which includes the following, but not a full manuscript:

• A covering letter explaining what is important and original about the work, as well as what research has been undertaken
• One page outline of content
• Title
• Table of contents
• Chapter outlines
• What type of reader it was written for
• Short biographical information, including research interests, other publications or relevant work.
• Intended length of manuscript
• Why you would like LAB, particularly, to publish it.
